DWDM MUX/DEMUX
MICS product line offers the most complete range of DWDM Mux/Demux (6,25GHz to 400GHz spacing).
TMICS is a spacing and frequency DWDM Mux/Demux.
Thanks to its flexible bulk grating technology, KYLIA offers the most complete DWDM mux/demux product range.

Since 1998, KYLIA MICS product is deployed on the field by system vendors, for metro, long haul and submarine networks.
KYLIA developed a benchtop tunable MUX/DEMUX. By tuning the spacing and the optical frequency, the user has access to complete grid modularity.
- MICS is qualified to TELCORDIA 1209 and TELCORDIA 1221.
- KYLIA also offers MUX/DEMUX based on TFF in mini-size packages.
VARIABLE OPTICAL DELAY LINE
VODL product line offers Optical Delay Lines with delay ranges from 100ps to 12ns.
The Variable Optical Delay Line (VODL) is a device that enables a very precise and stable control of an optical delay up to 12ns.
The optical delay can continuously be tuned thanks to a micrometer head (manual option) or a motorized actuator (piloted option)
.
90° HYBRIDS
COH 90° optical hybrids enable to extract phase, amplitude and polarization by performing interferences between a Signal and a Local Oscillator.
COH24 and COH24-X
The COH24 is a single polarization 90° optical hybrid that enables to extract phase and amplitude from a single polarization signal by performing four 90° phase stepped interferences between the signal and a Local Oscillator (LO). The COH24-X is a new generation optical hybrid with improved performances (among other things, a wider operating wavelength range and much better dual uniformities).
COH28 and COH28-X
The COH28 and COH28-X are based on two single polarization 90° optical hybrids that can extract phase, amplitude and polarization from a signal with any polarization.
These products are purely passive and athermal.
The COH24-X and COH28-X also feature a phase tunability option in order to perfectly adjust the 90° of the hybrid depending on the wavelength used.

DELAY LINE INTERFEROMETERS
MINT is a Mach-Zender Delay Line Interferometer (DLI). WTMINT is a FSR-tunable DLI available with delay ranges from 100ps till 9ns.
MINT
The Micro Interferometer (MINT) is a Delay Line Interferometer (DLI) that performs the interference between an incoming signal and itself delayed by one bit-time. Dedicated to DPSK demodulation it can be used in many other applications.
MINT is tunable to enable a precise matching of the carrier frequency. KYLIA can provide DLI with any FSR value, according to customer requirement (any FSR > 0.4GHz).
WT-MINT
The WT-MINT is a Widely Tunable MINT that enables to set the delay of the interferometer to the required value. This can be done either with a micrometer head (manual option) or with a motorized translation stage (piloted version). The WTMINT is available in a 12ns delay range version (any FSR > 83MHz).
MODAL MUX/DEMUX
M3 inject/recover 3 modes in a single Few Mode Fiber (FMF).
The M3 modal MUX/DEMUX is a device that enable to inject/recover 3 different signals coming from 3 different fibers in a single Few Mode Fiber (FMF), where each signal is carried on a spatial mode which is orthogonal to the others. those modes are called LP01 LP11a and LP11b.
KYLIA can provide modal MUX/DEMUX made with its FMF or adapt its product to customer’s FMF.
We also propose a mode characterization service for any FMF.
OPTICAL BIT RATE MULTIPLIER
OBRM increases the repetition rate of an input optical signal by 2 times.
The Optical Bit Rate Multiplier (OBRM) is an instrument that increases the repetition rate of an input optical signal by 2 times. By cascading 2, 3 or 4 OBRM, the repetition rate will increase by 4, 8 or 16 times.
POLARIZATION DIVISION MULTIPLEXING EMULATOR
PDME enables to control the delay between both polarizations.
The Polarization Division Multiplexing Emulator (PDME) is a device that enables to control the delay between both polarizations. The PDME can be used to emulate Polarization Division Multiplexing (PDM) signal by launching a polarized signal with a given modulation format. At the output of the device, the modulation format will be emulated on both polarizations. For instance, if QPSK is launched at the input, PDM-QPSK will be emulated at the output. The PDME can also be used to emulate Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD).
Several options are available on the PDME, such as ON/OFF shutter, Variable Optical Attenuator, Variable Optical Delay Line or long free space delay.
QUADRATURE AMPLITUDE MODULATOR
QAM emulators enable to emulate a QAM signal from a QPSK signal.
With Kylia’s QAM16 or QAM64, you can emulate a QAM signal from a QPSK signal.
Phase tuning elements enable to adjust the delay between the different arms to a multiple of bit-time in order to optimize the interferences pattern
